Machines should ideally by c9s machines to get around potential build issues (kernel related) while building for RL9. ppc64le is running on c9s, x86_64/aarch64 are on a new enough kernel or otherwise.

Ping. We are still running into the following issues:

  • Memory issues (though this is partially addressed via swap)
  • Kernels will not build unless cordoned to a specific node that just happens to work

Whether or not the systems are turned into KVM systems at this present time, there needs to be some form of consistency in the configuration of the systems.
