Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
we already have a mapping of exactly what channels correspond to which, so we should be able to generate a text filter that replaces the channels' names as they come across the bridge
