While the extras repository has mainly release packages and the occasional utility (such as rpaste), it may be useful for a user who is doing a manual installation to be able to select that they wish to have epel-release installed or rpmfusion-free-release installed on their system upon installation. To facilitate this, it would need the following:

Modification to the toolkit configuration
- image configuration would need "extras" listed as another variant
Additional comps files made for peridot configuration
- Each group may just have one package available, but it should allow a user to get close to what they want at the get go.

As the extras repository has packages that take far less space than the actual base, adding these packages to the images should not have a large impact.
