Introduction

Hi, I am Neil Hanlon and I am requesting resources for the Special Interest Group "OSTree"

Initial Project

o/ I'd like to propose and sponsor (slightly more officially), SIG/OSTree, which will produce rpm-OStree artifacts and in the future, live media.

The idea for the SIG is to turn Rocky releases into ostree-compatible layers which can be consumed and built on. This will open the way for Rocky-type spins of CoreOS and derivatives like Silverblue, Kinoite, etc.

Initial tasks would include creating a CI/CD pipeline to automate the building of OStrees using rpm-ostree compose.

Later, we will create live ISOs and possible qcow images which could be released into Cloud Service Providers.
