Introduction

Hi, I am Neil Hanlon and I am requesting resources on behalf of SIG/Desktop. I am skipping the formality of posting in SIG/General for this request as SIG/Desktop is a Legacy SIG (as it existed on almost day 1 as an 'idea'), and there is now marked interest in Desktop/Gaming related functionality on Rocky and EL as a whole.

Initial Project

The Desktop and Gaming SIG (SIG/Desktop)'s first project is in line with its goal to make Rocky Linux a workstation experience worth using, and that is setup for ease of use for productivity and gaming on a Rocky workstation. The SIG will build experiences for Rocky Linux as well as contribute upstream to CentOS Stream/Fedora/EPEL where practical.
