For users who run Rocky Linux in VirtualBox, it is typically required to build the guest additions manually as there is no installable RPM for it. However, it is possible to build the virtualbox-guest-additions package (e.g. from the CentOS Kmod SIG or Fedora 40) and install it. This would effectively remove the need to compile the modules manually and provide a seamless experience for users.

This package could sit in kernel-drivers, or in another repository at the SIG's discretion.
